(Yemen - Hadrumat Highlands) Yemen 3D Programs (140 square kilometers and 120 kilometers advanced 2D reconnaissance, including Canadian Occidental Petroleum-Yemen) Extreme topographic and operational challenges in overlying plateau/wadi surfaces; subtle, multiple stratigraphic-structural imaging objectives, with large reserves and high growth potential. Acquisition, Evaluation and Integrated Interpretation of 3D Seismic Over Gas Storage Reservoirs (Including Northern Illinois Natural Gas, Gas Research Institute with Schlumberger/GeoQuest) Providence managed the GRI contract for this project to image subtle compartmentalization of a significant gas storage reservoir for operator reservoir management objectives. |
